Jens Otterstedt

Jens Otterstedt is the appointed General Manager of Al Masaood Bergum. In his role, he leverages almost three decades of experience in the fields of construction, design and factory management to help position Al Masaood’s construction division as a leading provider of locally manufactured prefabricated building solutions.

As the General Manager, Otterstedt is in charge of supervising the operations of Al Masaood Bergum, initiating a new and upgraded range of prefab solutions, and supervising the company’s operational expansion in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Placed under his leadership is an 800-strong workforce trained based on international standards.

Before joining Al Masood Bergum, the German executive was appointed to various senior positions in organisations located in the UAE and Canada. His previous roles saw him leading major projects involving iconic airports terminals, hotels and residential and office buildings. He also launched and ran the operations of several world-class factories in the UAE, Canada, Germany and Mauritius. In the Middle East, in particular, he successfully managed, restructured and developed fit-out factories.

Jens takes the lead in starting Al Masaood Bergum’s new chapter of growth and development. He is committed to implementing the ‘LEAN culture’ concept and fully computer-controlled manufacturing processing, with the goal of delivering high-profile projects on budget with outstanding quality results.

Jens obtained his Master Carpenter Diploma / Bachelor Professional (Germany) – Post-Secondary Certificate from Handwerkskammer Oldenburg in Germany.
